"Act LIke You Know" - VerseBorn
As the KonQuest Now collective continues to release a deluge of dope music, ranging from party anthems to deep conscious mantras, VerseBorn drops an originally produced banger, "Act Like You Know", calling out the fake homies and phony acquaintances that only seem to come around or show support when the opportunity is the their favor.
"Act Like You Know" is a distilled west-coast slap that will surely be heard bumping out of systems on repeat. The instrumental hits with the classic feeling g-funk baselines and captivating drum patterns, mixed with the unique flavor that only VerseBorn could provide. The simple elements help construct an intricate path for the MC to demonstrate a tactile cadence, keeping the listener engaged into every metaphor.
